LITO is a Southern European-inspired restaurant in the heart of Wynwood, created around a simple idea: good food, a beautiful room, and the kind of atmosphere that makes dinner last longer than expected.

Founded by restaurateurs Liz Mattos and Eduardo Antunes alongside Chef Junior Santos, LITO brings together years of hospitality experience with a fresh perspective on Miami dining. Inspired by Italy, France, Spain, and the Mediterranean coast, the restaurant approaches Southern European cooking with regional traditions as its foundation, without being defined by borders.

At the heart of LITO’s culinary identity are Chef Junior Santos and Chef Caio Ottoboni, who developed the menu around the ingredients and techniques that connect these cuisines: seafood, olive oil, citrus, fresh herbs, vegetables, handmade pasta, open-fire cooking, acidity, and freshness.

Italian, French, Spanish, and Mediterranean references meet contemporary techniques and ingredients that feel naturally at home in Miami. Familiar flavors are reinterpreted rather than recreated, remaining connected to tradition while expressing a lighter, more personal point of view.

Sharing shaped the menu from the beginning. Crudos, vegetables, pastas, seafood, dishes from the grill, and larger plates are designed to move across the table. Guests can stop in for a few plates and drinks or build an entire dinner around dishes shared across the table.

The restaurant takes inspiration not only from what people eat across Southern Europe, but from the way they eat: generously, socially, and without rushing. Sophisticated without being ceremonial, LITO is designed for the table to become the center of the evening.

The same philosophy extends beyond the kitchen. Warm lighting, natural textures, music, and a lively bar create an intimate atmosphere that evolves throughout the night. Cocktails lean into citrus, fresh botanicals, and premium spirits, while the wine selection moves easily alongside the menu.
